Issues
Amanda is running for Huntersville Town Board to ensure that new and existing families of all shapes and backgrounds feel at home in this beautiful town. Some of her priorities are:
- Stronger partnership with CMS to rebuild relationships and build to a plan to deliver equal access to education for all Huntersville children
- Working to ensure that commercial and residential development projects balance a business friendly approach with transportation (i.e. traffic) as well as social, educational, and environmental issues
- Continuing to support the Huntersville Vine greenway project and focus on expansion to connect with communities, parks, and entertainment in a safe, walkable, and bikeable environment
- Preservation of the tree canopy and environmental habitats
She's also spent the last several years supporting various organizations advocating for equal rights and awareness specifically for the LGBTQ community. "It’s not just about me and my family - it’s about making Huntersville a place that truly feels like home to everyone that lives here," said Amanda. "I look forward to meeting and sharing ideas with you to make the Town of Huntersville an even better place to live, work, and play."

Amanda se postula para la Junta Municipal de Huntersville para garantizar que las familias nuevas y existentes de todas las formas y orígenes se sientan como en casa en esta hermosa ciudad. Algunas de sus prioridades son:
- Promover la asociación con CMS para reconstruir relaciones y construir un plan para brindar igualdad de acceso a la educación para todos los niños de Huntersville.

También ha pasado los últimos años apoyando a varias organizaciones que abogan por la igualdad de derechos y la concientización específicamente para la comunidad LGBTQ. "No se trata sólo de mí y mi familia, se trata de hacer de Huntersville un lugar que realmente se sienta como un hogar para todos los que viven aquí", dijo Amanda. "Espero reunirme con usted y compartir ideas para hacer de la ciudad de Huntersville un lugar aún mejor para vivir, trabajar y jugar".
